A steady, intuitive presence. Having supported 200+ births, I seamlessly know when to step in with physical/emotional comfort and when to step back and capture the raw story.

How does the 24/7 on-call work?

From 37 weeks until your baby arrives, my phone rests right beside me on call 24/7. I stay within an hour’s drive and don’t take on conflicting commitments so I’m ready when labor begins.

What if my birth plan changes?

All births are beautiful. Whether you have an unmedicated home water birth, a hospital epidural, a VBAC, or a gentle C-section, I honor every path to parenthood.

I am on call 24/7 for you from 37 weeks until your baby arrives. If labor begins in the middle of the night, you simply call me (don't text!). My phone stays right next to me, fully charged, and I will be on my way.
Having attended over 200 births as a doula and midwife's assistant, I know when to be present and when to fade into the background. We meet before the birth so you and your partner feel completely comfortable and safe with me in your sacred space.
Yes, though hospital OR access depends on your medical team. If I am not allowed inside the operating room, I wait right outside to document baby's immediate arrival, weight check, and your family's postpartum reunion.
Never without your explicit permission. I will never announce your birth before you do, and you retain complete privacy control over which photos—if any—you wish to share.
Yes! On-call life is unpredictable, so I strictly limit the number of birth clients I take each month. I also work with trusted, vetted local birth photographers as pre-arranged backups in case of emergency.

Documenting your birth is a deeply collaborative, safe experience.

The Initial Connection: We schedule a 30-minute phone chat to get to know each other, discuss your birth plan, and confirm availability around your due date.
In-Person Prenatal Meeting: Prior to your birthing day, we meet in person (preferably with your partner) to clarify your wishes, go over logistics, and build deep comfort and trust.
The On-Call & Labor Window: Starting at 37 weeks, I am on call 24/7. When labor begins, you call me, and I join you at your home, birth center, or hospital.
Postpartum Sneak Peeks & Delivery: You receive a handful of curated "sneak peek" images within 24 hours to announce your baby’s arrival, followed by your complete private digital gallery online around 4 weeks later.
